Bao & Partners is a law firm with a growing international presence. With offices in Hanoi and Hochiminh city, and liaison office in the United States, we work closely with clients to advance business objectives in Vietnam and abroad.
Our Firm was originally founded in Hanoi in 2004 and expanded to Hochiminh city in 2006. In 2008, we set up August Bao Law, the first US-Vietnamese joint venture law firm in Vietnam for cross-border transactions between Vietnam and the United States. Our partner is August Law Group, a California-based law firm holding 50% of the joint venture.
Our corporate clients retain us to advise on legal issues in relation to new capital investments, banking and finance, corporate governance and contract, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights, and environmental regulation. We represent our clients before administrative and regulatory authorities, and when appropriate, in the courts.

1.2. Recruiting information
Job title: Legal Counsel Position
Job descriptions
i) Research on legal issues/regulations for our existing and potential clients;
ii) Implement registrations/establishments/investment procedures for our clients;
iii) Prepare and/or review legal opinions, resolutions, contracts, other legal documents and projects for clients;
iv) Prepare business proposals and written reports for clients; and
v) Perform other tasks as assigned by our Partner and Senior Legal Counsel.
Job requirements:
i) University graduate with major in Law. Oversea graduated degree must be an advantage;
ii) At least one year working experience for Legal Counsel Position and two to five years working experience for Associate Position in relevant position;
iii) Good understanding of Laws especially Commercial law, Investment Law, Enterprise Law, IP Law, etc…;
iv) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
v) Fluency in English (both spoken and written with Ielts's score at least 5.5 or Toiec's score at least 700 or equal) and good computing skills; and
vi) Willing to learn and able to work efficiently under pressure and with deadlines.
This position will report to: Partner and Senior Legal Counsel
